Storm damage inspections

Storm Damage Drone Inspections in Tulsa, OK

After a storm, you need to know what happened to your roof and building exterior, and you need a record of it. We capture aerial images of the property and organize them into documentation you can share with your roofer, property manager or anyone involved in repair or claim discussions.

Why an aerial record helps after a storm

Properties change quickly after severe weather. Debris gets cleared, tarps go on, temporary repairs are made, and the exact condition of the roof on the day after the storm becomes hard to reconstruct. A dated set of aerial images captures what the property looked like at that point, from angles that are difficult or unsafe to reach on foot.

Aerial documentation also saves time for the people who need to see the roof. Instead of describing what you think happened, you can send the same set of images to everyone involved.

What we document

We tailor the capture to the property, but a storm documentation set commonly includes:

  • The full roof surface, edges and slopes
  • Visibly lifted, shifted or missing roofing material
  • Flashing, vents, skylights and other roof penetrations
  • Debris on the roof or collected in drainage areas
  • Visible gutters and downspouts
  • Exterior walls and upper elevations, where they're visible
  • The surrounding area, such as nearby trees and structures, for context

Everything is captured as clear imagery and organized so specific areas are easy to find.

Who this is for

Homeowners and commercial property owners

who want a visual record of what the property looks like after a storm.

Property and facility managers

who need documentation across one building or several.

Roofing contractors

who want a clear view of a roof before they visit.

Insurance adjusters and insurance companies

who work with aerial imagery as a visual supplement to their own review.

We provide the images. You decide who sees them.

Insurance-related documentation

Many storm properties involve an insurance conversation. A clear, dated visual record can be helpful context for that conversation, and we can organize images with that kind of use in mind.

Our role is documentation. We don't determine whether damage is covered, what caused it, what a claim is worth or whether it will be approved, and we aren't an adjuster. Those decisions belong to the people and companies responsible for them. What we give you is a set of images that shows what the property looked like.

What you receive

Inspection imagery of the roof and exterior, annotated images that mark specific areas when you want them highlighted, and edited photos where they make the record clearer. Video can be added when it helps. We agree on the package with you before we fly.

How a storm documentation request works

1

Tell us what happened.

Send the property location, type of property and any areas you're concerned about.

2

We agree on the scope.

That covers what to capture and how you'd like the images organized.

3

We capture the property.

Weather and site conditions affect when a flight is possible, so we plan around them with you.

4

You receive the images.

You can review them yourself and share them with the people who need them.

Need a record of storm conditions?

Storm documentation vs. routine roof inspections

A roof inspection is a general record of a roof's condition at a point in time, useful for maintenance, planning and keeping a history. Storm damage documentation is tied to a specific weather event: it's about capturing the property soon enough to show what the event left behind. If you're unsure which you need, tell us what's going on and we'll suggest a scope.

What we don't do

We're not roofing contractors, adjusters or engineers. We don't perform repairs, estimate repair costs, assess structural safety or provide opinions on cause or coverage. If the images show something that needs evaluating, a qualified professional can do that, and our documentation gives them a clear starting point.

Frequently asked questions

No. We capture and organize images. Coverage, cause and claim decisions are handled by your insurance company and the professionals involved in your claim.

Yes. The point of the documentation is that everyone involved can look at the same images.

If you can, a record of the property's condition before anything is changed is useful, since repairs and cleanup alter what can be seen. Tell us the situation and we'll work out the scope.

No. Aerial imagery shows what's visible from above and from the sides, and some issues, like damage under roofing material or inside a building, can't be seen this way. We'll tell you what the images can and can't show for your property.

Yes. We document commercial and residential roofs and exteriors. Larger commercial properties are scoped to their size.

Document the property as it stands

Send us the details and we'll follow up about the scope.
